Telehealth nephrology

Kidney specialist review
from home.

Video or phone consultations when clinically appropriate.

Telehealth can support review of kidney function, blood pressure and treatment progress when your assessment does not require an in-person examination. Your clinic will confirm whether telehealth is suitable for the purpose of your visit.

Is telehealth suitable?

Suitability depends on the clinical question, available results and whether an examination is needed. An in-person appointment may be recommended for a new concern or a change in your condition.

Medicare eligibility varies by the service and your circumstances. Reception can help confirm requirements before the appointment.

Booking

Contact your usual clinic, or choose a Melbourne location through the booking page. Tell reception that you are requesting telehealth and whether you have a referral.
